I am bioinformatics PhD candidate in Cristen Willer's lab. My research involves identifying and refining genetic variants associated with plasma lipid levels. I use data on chromatin accessibility and other functional genomic features from ENCODE to develop a tool to test for global enrichment of trait-associated variants in important regulatory genomic regions.
